“On The Ropes” Boxing Radio return this week with host Jenna J to talk about all the latest news and stories in the sport of boxing. In this episode, I will be discussing the on going Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations and the likelihood of the fight taking place on May 2nd. After weeks of talks, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao appeared to be on the cusp of making what would be the biggest fight in the sport, but network deals and promotional issues appear to be delaying the deal and have left the fans with a lot of uncertainty. I also will be talking about the recently announced Spike TV Premier Boxing champions card, and the fights that will appear on that network. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO OFFER TO RESCIND HIS NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT
and ask the other side to do the same and then they can negotiate the fight openly and the people would know for sure. sadly it seems these are the first agreements negotiating parties are most willing to affix their signatures to.
unless floyd’s contract with showtime is ironclad against not having to fight the biggest fight that will give showtime and in the end CBS it’s biggest income (and espinosa was stupid OR crooked enough to allow it – the guy has got to be fired for being a snake btw) floyd will have to fight pacquiao or lose his fortunes in a lawsuit. the delay is rather bizarre on floyd’s part and their photographed meeting is proving to be contrived for leverage as many suspect only to make it appear he’s the most interested in the fight between the two, and if pacquiao and arum gets frustrated and withdraws that will be floyd’s defense in a lawsuit.
AND BTW, SOME PEOPLE SHOULDN’T BE PLAYING POKER
when somebody goes on record on video saying he’s afraid to die or end up like Muhammad Ali, drooling shaking in his old age and would gladly give back his fortunes than fight pacquiao, THAT’S A “TELL” and it can’t be more genuine a “TELL” than that (hysterically with voice cracking) it’s actually FLOYD’S HONEST DECLARATION. so don’t blame arum who is 100 years old and would like to see this fight before he checks out.
