“On The Ropes” Boxing Radio returns this week with host Jenna J to breakdown all the recent fight action in the sport of boxing. In this episode I will look back at the most recent SHOWTIME event which pinned undefeated light welterweight champion, Danny Garcia against Mauricio Herrera. The result of the bout was really controversial as a large number of fans felt as though the wrong man was awarded the decision. I will talk about the decision and the future of both men.
I will also discuss the continuing rise of Deontay Wilder as he carries on with his unblemished (31-0 31 KO) record. After dismantling what was supposed to be the biggest test in his career in just 1:36 of the first round, Wilder is now poised for a run at the heavyweight title. I will talk about Deontay’s spot in the heavyweight division and how he matches up with the other top contenders. Just click on the audio player to listen to the show!
