“On The Ropes” Boxing Radio is back once again with host Jenna J to discuss the most recent fights and fight news in the sport. In this episode I will cover the most recent Premier Boxing Champions card which featured a match up between Danny Garcia and Paulie Malignaggi, in what was Garcia’s debut as a welterweight. In addition, I will talk about the co-main event, the middleweight title clash between Daniel Jacobs and Sergio Mora. I will discuss the fights and the future of the winners.

The first guest on this weeks show is former light middleweight champion, Austin ‘No Doubt’ Trout. Austin talks about making his debut as a commentator for the new PBC series on Bounce TV and how he felt about event. Trout also talks about his career and where he feels he is at in the division, as he rides a three fight win streak. Additionally, ‘No Doubt’ gives his views on the upcoming Miguel Cotto vs. Saul Alvarez bout and the announcement of Floyd Mayweather vs. Andre Berto.

The second guest on the program is respected trainer, Abel Sanchez. Abel is well known for being the head trainer of Gennady Golovkin, amongst other high level fighters. Sanchez talks about cornering Nadjib Mahammedi, as he took on knockout artist, Sergey Kovalev and what he felt of the way the fight ultimately played out. Abel also talks about Golovkin’s upcoming pay-per-view event in which he will be facing tough Canadian, David Lemieux. Abel breaks down the fight and how he feels the fight will end. Lastly, Abel Sanchez speaks about the possibility of Gennady Golovkin fighting the winner of the Cotto-Alvarez bout.

The main guest is none other than undefeated knockout artist and current WBA welterweight champion, Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman. Thurman shares his thoughts on his win over Luis Collazo and what he feels is in store for him in the near future. ‘One Time’ also speaks about his future and the talk of him facing rising contender, Errol Spence. Thurman also shares his thoughts on Andre Berto getting the fight with Mayweather and the future of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
