“On The Ropes” Boxing Radio is back again this week with host Jenna J to discuss some hottest topics that are happening in boxing. In this edition I talk about a fighter who has been gaining a lot of notoriety in the middleweight division, that being Gennady “GGG” Golovkin who is coming off winning his 27th consecutive fight, this time over tough British fighter Matthew Macklin via 3rd round KO. I also discuss the level of opposition Golovkin has been facing up to this point as well as who he could be matched up with in the near future. Also in the show I talk about Andre Ward and his continuing struggles outside the ring which have had him sidelined for almost one year. Just press the green player to listen to the show! Joining me this week on the show is Robert McCracken, the head trainer of Carl Froch to discuss all the latest news on his star pupil as well as give his views on the big upcoming fights in the sport. Also making his debut to “On The Ropes” is Brandon “Flawless” Gonzales who just fought to a controversial draw with Thomas Oosthuizen in which the majority of spectators felt Brandon did more than enough to get a decision win. Brandon talks not only about this fight but about his relationship with his trainer Virgil Hunter and what it’s like to train alongside great fighters such as Andre Ward and Amir Khan. Lastly, Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi returns to the show, now being a couple weeks removed from his last fight, Paulie tells us whether he still feels he got robbed against Adrien Broner and his thoughts on a rematch to regain his title.
