By Jenna J – “On The Ropes” Boxing Radio returns this week with host Jenna J to talk about all the hottest stories in the sport of boxing. In this episode I talk about Nonito Donaire’s recent bout with Vic Darchinyan, the comeback fight for the former IBO champion. Donaire stopped Darchinyan via technical knock out in round 9, but the same questions still remain about “The Filipino Flash” and his determination and drive to fight at the top level of the sport. I will discuss the future of both men and what opponents they could be facing in their coming bouts.

I will also discuss Mikey Garcia and his continuous rise as one of the best p4p fighters today. Garcia stopped Roman Martinez to win the super featherweight title this past weekend and improved his record to 33-0 with 28 KO’s. With this move up in weight, Mikey now has several new challenges ahead of him, I will breakdown what his next move might be. Lastly, I will preview the upcoming HBO card which features the long awaited return of Andre “S.O.G” Ward as he takes on the undefeated, Edwin “La Bomba” Rodriguez. This weeks first guest is “The Magic Man” Paulie Malignaggi. Paulie talks about the preparation for his upcoming December 7th fight with Zab Judah, and what he expects from Judah once they meet inside the ring. Aside from this, Paulie gives his views on some of the big names in boxing. The second guest is rising heavyweight prospect, Hughie Fury. Hughie has had a very good start to his professional career and in this year alone he has racked up 12 wins, 7 by KO. Hughie recaps his first year in the sport and talks about his goal of becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in the history of boxing.

The third guest on this weeks show is Peter Fury, the father of Hughie Fury and trainer of heavyweight title contender, Tyson Fury. Peter talks a little about his sons career so far and also gives insight into Tyson Fury’s scheduled match with David Haye. The main guest this week is none other than super middleweight champ, Carl “The Cobra” Froch. Froch gives an in depth interview about facing George Groves in his next fight, as well as who he hopes to fight with before his career is over. Additionally, Carl gives his views on some interesting fights that are coming up soon, including a potential Khan-Mayweather match up.

I think that Groves will not Trade with Froch he will most likely jab and run, try to eek out a points victory but get outworked over 12, alternatively Froch knocks groves out in five or 6, less likely outcome, most likely Froch U.d

  2. robert ko boxing brown says:

Zab Judah early on with good early speed and power will lead Paulie through the first 4 rounds 1 to 3, then Paulie with his superior i.q boxing skill and stamina will win a decision around 116-112
