Floyd Mayweather Jr recently announced that the fans can decide between Amir Khan & Marcos Maidana as to who his next opponent will be, and with people being so against Khan, you would think that Maidana would be the obvious choice. But in a poll with just two options is it really fair to limit boxing fans just to that?
In this poll, all of the top suggested opponents are listed to get a really gauge as to who the fans want to see Mayweather put in the ring with. Some of the fighters listed already have fights scheduled that would rule them out a May showdown with Mayweather, but this poll is more then just who’s next, it’s about who the fans REALLY want to see Mayweather meet in the ring.

Amir Khan only gets anywhere near mentioned with Floyd cos he is Asian an has big following worldwide, PPV numbers, simple as that, but the fact remains that Amir Khan isnt even the best welterweight in England, thats belongs to Kell Brook. He is self proclaiming that he’s the best so he should fight all the best fighters out there. First, he should fight the best in the welter like Manny, Bradley, Keith thurman and Garcia then moved up to fight Ward and Golovkin. Floyd is a big welterweight preying on small guys in the welter division, he should follow Cotto and moved to middleweight.
